Feds award rural development money to 5 Maine biofuel firms

BANGOR — Five Maine biofuel producers will share $78,280 in U.S. Department of Agriculture rural development payments announced Thursday. Portland-based Maine Biofuel Inc. received $53,344 for the production of 90,871 gallons of biofuel.
